As I have seen the wiki grow and change since late 2018, I have become prideful in our work to change the wiki from a lazy planet database to a rich and lush sci-fi writing community. I believe it is my time to make a firm announcement for the future. Since I have observed an influx in new content and users, I think this is relevant now more than ever.
1: We are not a 'SpaceEngine Wiki', nor are we a place for you to create random low quality planet (or just any low quality) pages. I hope in the future, new users should get that planets, galaxies, star systems, and things of the like should be high-quality pages. They should remain developed intricately and effectively to fit in the new lore dynamic that we are setting up.
2: Considering that the SpaceEngine aspect is still getting removed, please do not bring up the program or anything directly related to it in your writings. This should hopefully be obvious by now, but still. I also want to use this segment to tell everyone to brush up on their comprehension of the main lore.
3: With these new users coming aboard, I want to remind everyone that professionalism and order are a few things that I want to emphasize. I have seen a worrying level of child-like behavior on the Discord, including some moderate levels of unprofessionalism and cluelessness in the comments.
I wish all editors, from veterans to people who just walked in, a very well rest of their time on the wiki. If you have any questions, please refer them to me or other members of the staff team.
