Here is where anyone can post custom systems as well as instructions on how to install them.

Sol System
Installation instructions
Sol System File 0.972 Download, open the file and save as a plain text. Then rename the file extension to sc, rename as SolSys.sc and copy to Data>Catalog>Planets, making sure to save the original SolSys file in case something goes wrong.
Installation instructions
Sol System File 0.980
Download, open the file and save as a plain text. Then rename the file extension to sc, rename as SolarSys.sc. Then go into your Space Engine folder and head to Data>Catalog and unpack the Catalogs0980.pak file. Move the pak file out of the folder to your desktop or wherever you want to save it to just in case, then place the SolSys.sc file into Data>Catalog>planets folder and replace the original SolSys.sc file.
Installation Instructions
Sol System File 0.990
This one is a bit more complicated. The first step is similar to the above, download the file, open then save as a plain text. Then rename the file extension to sc, making it SolarSys.sc.
Now just leave it on your desktop or wherever you downloaded it to. Next, you're going to go into Data>Catalog and unpack the Catalog.pak file. Then move the pak file out of the Catalog folder into the main SpaceEngine folder.
Once you're done with that, you're going to go into Data>Textures>Terrain>Samples, and open up the SamplesPresets.pak file. In order to do this, you'll either need WinRar or some equivalent. Copy the custom_Mars.cfg and custom_Moon.cfg files out of the pak folder then delete the originals.
Now you're ready to copy the modified SolarSys.sc file into your Data>Catalogs>Planets folder, making sure to save the original somewhere else.
It's worth noting that with 0.990 the game may update. When that happens, make sure to remove the new Catalog.pak file out of the Planet's folder as this file seems to take precedence.
Saykya System (0.990)
Installation Instructions
Step One:
Before you install anything, I strongly suggest you download "Rodrigo's Mod" from the Steam Workshop. (If you have not a clue what this is, you can send me a message on my wall.)
Then, install the Saykya Planets.
Separate "Saykya" from this folder, and place it in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngine\addons\catalogs\stars folder.
Then, place the rest of the objects in the (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngine\addons\catalogs\planets folder.
Step Two:
Install the Saykya Palettes. These are essentially controllers for how planets appear. The installation process is also a bit more complicated. But basically, you just want to move these to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngine\data\textures\terrain\samples
Once that is done, start SpaceEngine 0.990 with Rodrigo's Mod and everything should look optimal.

Terminus System
Installation Instructions
(This addon is very confusing. Please follow steps carefully.)
Downloads
This file one is a bunch more complicated than the the rest. Please follow the instructions below carefully!
- Step 1: Download and unpack the TerminusSamples folder.
- Step 2: Go to the file directory shown:
- Steam/steamapps/common/SpaceEngine/data/textures/terrain/samples.
This is where SE stores its palettes for planet surfaces.
- Step 3: Stay at the the samples folder, and get the folder TerminusSamples. Drag everything from the TerminusSamples folder into the samples folder. Replace all files if that dialog box shows up. You need to replace it to make sure the planets' root palette is compatible. Do not place the whole folder in, or SE won't process it.
Now that the required files in the samples folder are replaced, move on to the TerminusPlanets file.
- Step 1: Download and unpack the TerminusPlanets folder
- Step 2: Go to the file directory shown:
- SpaceEngine/addons/catalogs/planets
- Step 3: Place the contents of the unpacked TerminusPlanets folder into the planets folder. Do not place the whole folder in, or SE won't process it.
Step 1: Place the .sc file in the directory shown:
SpaceEngine/addons/catalogs/stars
That is it! Really, that is it. You should see things pop up in the game. (Yes, I am aware of bugs in this version, they will be ironed out in the next one.)
Cireasei
Just put the folder in your catalogs folder.
