Hocestetiamipsa is a rogue planet in the Ambrosia Core of the Ambrosia Galaxy. It is a frozen I-class dwarf planet with life covering its entire surface. It has two major moons orbiting it.

It served as the birthplace of the Noctis-Umbra species in 3,458,000,000 BCE

Hocestetiamipsa is one of the most important worlds in Ambrosia's long history as a galaxy, and this is due to it being the respective world where the Noctis-Umbra came into existence.

Another reason is that it was the respective dwarf planet where Mystara, one of the Ten Supreme Authorities was born. And she herself served as most likely, the single most influential figure in Ambrosia's history.

As well, it was one of the most well guarded worlds under their protection thanks to its nature of being the Noctis-Umbra's capital world.

It is a rogue planet, meaning that it does not orbit any form of star and instead orbits the super massive black hole at the Ambrosia Galaxy's center, known as the Ambrosia Core.

It would receive special attention by the C.Y.R.E.X during the Red Galaxy Event in 604,000,000 BCE, to the point that one may refer to it as an extreme overreaction, almost destroying the object in its entirety.

The geography of Hocestetiamipsa is one massive flat surface covered in piratically endless layers of frozen moss-like organisms. Small hills, and impact craters are known to exist on the surface as well.

Large cracks and ridges are spread across the entire surface, with the moss like life of the dwarf planet lining the cracks walls. These are caused due to the shifting of the dwarf planet's tectonic plates.

Now, thanks to the C.Y.R.E.X the surface of Hocestetiamipsa is one, large, jagged and cracked ice plain.

The climate of Hocestetiamipsa is unbearably cold at -253 degrees Celsius, it is to the point that it would be too much for almost any *known* life form. This is due to its nature as a rogue planet, with no parent star to warm it.

Its thin atmosphere also produces a lot of this cold as well, with it raining small ice flakes every standard minute of what could be described as its days.

The population of Hocestetiamipsa would be massive, and this is thanks to the Noctis-Umbra's nature, as they would be born at an extreme rate. At the species' peak, the population of the small world would be eight quadrillion, causing the native Noctis-Umbra to find unorthodox ways to support their massive numbers. These included underground colonies, large sky scrappers reaching into space that could hold hundreds of millions each, and floating satellite colonies all around the dwarf planet.

The entire world's population would be made of members of the Noctis-Umbra species, as they did not want any other species to "sully" their home world with their presence. This caused the world to be very illusive to other member species of the Etymology, to the point that various folklore would be created for the dwarf planet.

The collective culture of Hocestetiamipsa would function identically to the inborn personalities and sensibilities of all Noctis-Umbra, and due to them being the only tenants of the world, that shouldn't come as a shock. And this culture would be made up of altruistic ideals of the benefit and advancement of the Noctis-Umbra people. As well as an aversion towards any who were not Noctis-Umbra.

This cultural attitude would mostly remain the same for the entirety of time that the Noctis-Umbra existed on the world. However once Mystara took control of her native species, all Noctis-Umbra would swear fealty to her, and defer all cultural and governmental matters to her.

The life of Hocestetiamipsa would be made up of countless organisms that take the appearance, form and overall nature of Bryophyta, more commonly known as: "moss". This aforementioned life would cover the entire surface of the world, as well as tunneling itself in the endless subglacial depths of the dwarf planet, layering itself in seemingly infinite layers. How this life could form on a world this cold is unknown, however theories abound exist.

The most famous, and arguably the most numerous life form that inhabited the surface was the Noctis-Umbra. A vaguely humanoid bipedal intelligent species that was comprised of the same plant mass that made up the rest of the dwarf planet's ecosystem.

Formation and Early History

Hocestetiamipsa formed from the aftermath of an event in the Ambrosia Core, wherein a mass of interstellar asteroids would become gravitationally bound to each other and collide. This would cause the collective mass of these aforementioned asteroids to coalesce into the now rogue dwarf planet, Hocestetiamipsa, and its two major moons, Xeka and Veria. As well as its two dwarf moons, Strana, and Duati in 3,554,890,709 BCE.

Shortly after its formation, life would begin to appear on Hocestetiamipsa and its moons through a yet unknown process in 3,490,000,000 BCE. And, shortly after that, the Noctis-Umbra would fully evolve on the aforementioned bodies in 3,458,000,000 BCE. While the Noctis-Umbra inhabited the dwarf planet, Hocestetiamipsa would have various cities across its surface, eventually becoming a full Ecumenopolis in 3,456,496,280 BCE.

Arguably the most important moment in Hocestetiamipsa's history, the famous Mystara would be born in 3,456,000,000 BCE. As she aged, she would create countless techological wonders for her species, from vastly powerful interstellar travel in their version of the Warp Drive. To unlocking the secret to virtual immortality, stopping the aging process, she would quickly become the most influential and powerful figure of the Noctis-Umbra. A fact she would learn herself, and she would use her endless technological wonders to forcibly take control of the Noctis-Umbra and their many colony worlds.

Artificial Wars and War of the Ten

In 3,454,000,000 BCE, The Lanitolia, an entity that operated as an interconnected A.I hive mind system, would be created by Mystara. It would increase the technological prowess of Mystara and the wider Noctis-Umbra species extremely. Eventually, like clockwork, the Liber would rebel against its creators and would declare war against them in the: "Artificial Wars" in 3,451,009,000 BCE. Though, it is theorized that this war was started by Mystara in order to consolidate her own power. During the war, Hocestetiamipsa would be fought over many times, destroying various Noctis-Umbra buildings in the process.

The same could be said when the War of the Ten erupted in 3,410,000,000 BCE, with various battles being fought on Hocestetiamipsa. However this time, almost all of the dwarf planet's Ecumenopolis would be destroyed, killing trillions of Noctis-Umbra. This would be one of the prime reasons the Noctis-Umbra would join the nine other warring factions, in the larger intragalactic government that would be known henceforth as the Etymology.

Red Galaxy Event

Much later, in 604,000,000 BCE, the C.Y.R.E.X would rebel against its Etymology creators in a similar fashion to the Liber billions of years prior. Thus, it would attack Hocestetiamipsa and its moons, destroying all Noctis-Umbra settlements and structures, and almost destroying the dwarf planet entirely, however Hocestetiamipsa's gravity would keep its hydrostatic equilibrium. It also caused the destruction of all life on the surface, including the Noctis-Umbra.

Afterwards the dwarf planet would remain untouched by any Ambrosian civilization, as they were completely unaware of its existence. When the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems was mapping the Ambrosia Core in 130,000 CE, Hocestetiamipsa would be discovered. However due to its outside appearance being an insignificant rogue dwarf planet among countless others, it was completely ignored by them, and they continued to be blissfully unaware of its once varied and important history.

Now, it exists as just a footnote in Ambrosia's ever changing galactic history, being left in the infinite darkness of space, floating forever.
