The Yellow Branch is one of the 12 Branches of the Sisterhood of Kryso, an Order native to the Union, one of the Lewis Nations. It's Sisterhood headquarters as a whole are located in Kryso, but those of the Yellow Branch are located in the Planet Senekar. In this world, they are in charge of training new members of this women-only Order. This branch is often called "the Knowledgable" or "the Scientists".
This Branch focus itself in Science and Research, working in investigating throught the scientific method and preserving scientifical knowledge of humanity for eternity and future generations to use. Its main goal is to save what humanity has accomplished for the Universe to see in case the race goes extinct or is swallowed by a foreign power. Nevertheless it is also their duty to save that information for future generations of Humans.
They are known for being great scientists and for studying in many fields, specially of the objective and qualitative genre. This includes the branches of Biology and Xenobiology, Chemistry, Physics and Astrophysics, Geology, Astronomy, Maths, and other similar sciences. Rarely they focus on Medical or Pharmacological fields, which is more studied by the Green Branch, although sometimes it may be the case (such as Physiopathology or Neurological science, specially of Xeno-Life).
They often work in orbital worlds, in frontier planets, or in large scientific complexes in the Union and sometimes abroad. They can be found to be explorers, interested in newly discovered planets, worlds, flora, fauna and/or other intelligent races. They dedicate themselves to pursue a life of researching, studying and investigating on their field of expertise. For such tasks, they are often required to follow the Path of Awakening. Typically, the Path of Awakening that they do is the Path of Wisdom or the Path of the Seer, as it fits perfectly with the policy of the Yellow.
They dedicate their lives to the pursuing of science by the proficiency use of the scientific method. They often work closely with the White, Green, Orange and Brown branches.
Robes[]
The traditional clothing of this branch is yelllow. It can be weared either in dark or light tones. Most notably lighter tones are used to differenciate themselves enough from the Orange branch. In case the typical yellow wear can't be carried, they tied strips of yellow to their wrists to indicate their status as Sisters of Kryso and their color indicating their branch.
Functions and Powers[]
The power their handle is rather soft power than actual true inminent power. They have power by the scientific results they obtain who can be use for obtaining power (such as military reseach). They are often mistakely taken as unimportant, as many people fail to realize that their research boost the quality of life of society and can cause its doom as well. This is a big responsability and they take such scientific power very seriously. The heading of the Branch usually reunites to discuss if a finding should be release or not to the gvernment, the public or even other branches of the Sisterhood. In case of finding it extremely dangerous it is put into oblivion to prevent it from falling into incorrect hands, including their own government. The first branch to know about a new find or discovery is always the White one, as they may be the ones to discuss if publishing for others to see a scientific discovery is ethical or not.
Among the Yellow, the jobs they carry are pretty much set since their are choosen into it. They do have a proper education that would make of them experts in technical and scientifical fields. Their job is alway scientists or researcher, and could be either in a Laboratory or Station, or in the field, most notably gathering info or as explorers in the frontier. They have been trained for it since childhood, regarding their inner talents or fields of interests. Sometimes the Yellows may work for foreign powers as well or for inner factions alone as private researchers. Nevertheless, ethically they are forced to do an oath that makes them inform the head of the Yellows before even their hiring customers.

Psycokinetic Powers[]
They use very little their powers, other than for enhancing their research or even being part of their own investigation. They often use them for seeing a problem from a different perspective, opening their own minds thanks to the parasyte and the Path of Wisdom. Their intelligence, almost unhuman is a result of their training and their Path of Wisdom. They may use the powers they have on the frontier, which is more often to see them use them. They gather with them samples or defend themselves from aggresive fauna, flora or intelligent life.
